Sims Round Back – North Dakota

Long Exposure Photograph of an abandoned home in the ghost town of Sims, ND. Once a boom town in the late 1800s, Sims was noted for an abundance of spring water and coal mining and home to a few general stores, a 3-story hotel, a two-room public school, real estate offices, and brick factory. But the original population of 1000 people dwindled quickly to just 86 people in 1910 after the NPRR company had abandoned the tracks through the town. Under the full moon light, we climbed inside of this old home and lit it up with an old Vivitar flash.
