A Night to Remember – Colmor, New Mexico

Long exposure photograph of an abandoned house in the ghost town of Colmor, New Mexico. The temp was falling fast. My gloves and boots were no match for the frost in the air. My toes were already losing the battle, and every time I took off a glove to adjust the camera settings, I felt the brisk bite. But my lips got the worst of it, as if cut by a razor across every millimeter. But as I stood at the bottom of the porch stairs, I ignored my body’s dashboard of warning signals and, instead, let the town’s quiet stillness ease my psyche.
